Flicks From Consequence x MOTHER New York x Tristan Eaton
Consequence killed it last night for a room full of NYC's taste makers at the offices of hipster ad agency MOTHER New York. Pop artist Tristan Eaton created a one of a kind installation. Check out a couple of the pics from last night's event. (WARNING: the pics are fuzzy, because I was too).

Nike Terminator Fluo Green Camo Pack
The Nike Terminator is one of my least favorite shoe models, but the interesting colorway and elephant print featured on the upcoming Fluo Green Camo pack might make me check out a pair.
The pack is slated to drop on April 4, 2009.

Nike 1World Air Force 1 Feride Uslu
Nike is up again with the next drop in the 1World Air Force 1. Berlin based artist Feride Uslu has created a rather simple gray AF1. I'm not as fond of this one as the Booba edition, but all in all, still a good shoe.
Check out the video on the shoe.

Brand to Watch - Stampd' LA
In the dog-eat-dog-then-dog-copy-dog world of kicks, there are very rarely any new and novel ideas. I too am a sucker for a new colorway on the same old shoe.
Stampd' LA is the fresh faced virgin on the scene.
Stampd' got its start a couple of years back when it was still cool the paint on your Air Force One's. The line has grown to include clever designs on clean canvas backdrops. I have a fleeting suspicion that there are bigtingspoppin for Stampd'.
Nike Air Max 1 - Moon Landing 40th Anniversary

Jil Sander for Uniqlo
I am extremely fortunate to live near NYC. Japanese retailer Uniglo opened it's first US flagship store a little over two years ago. Uniqlo offers some good ish...
In the era of high end designer smash ups, Uniqlo has inked a deal to to a capsule with Jil Sander. The Jil Sander brand is synonymous with simplicity and amazing construction. Be on the look out for the Jil Sander for Uniqlo capsule in the not so distant future.

Nike Air Force 1 x Alife Rivington Club
I started my official boycott of white-on-white AF1's a little over 4 years ago. Back then, it was my firm belief that white-on-whites were the official shoe of mailroom workers everywhere (no disrespect).
This drop from Nike and Alife may be just enough to bring me back.

Adele - "Make You Feel My Love"
Adele is sick. I slept on her for a minute, but I am addicted to this song. Before you blast me Yes, she looks like Ms. Garrett from the "Facts of Life" but she is talented. Big girls need love too.

D-Light: Melanie Fiona
In an era where Beyonce is the gold standard its refreshing to hear and see a musician that is set to change the game completely. Enter Melanie Fiona. The Guyana born and Canadian bred singer infuses the passion of a Janice Joplin with the musical sensibilities of a Gladys Knight (minus the Pips) and to add insult to injury, Melanie-is-hot-to-death. Trust me, Melanie Fiona is the next big TING!
